We are seeking a lab technician to join SEPL and help us build our spatial ecology capabilities. The lab tech would be responsible for creating a library of spatial data layers that will be used for research and teaching. She/he will also be responsible for researching technical purchases for the lab. Expertise in ArcGIS, QGIS, and/or spatial analyses in R is required. Experience working with paleontological databases and/or specimens is a plus. We currently have funding for a full time position for a semester or for a half time position for the academic year, though there is some flexibility in how time is designated.
